2023 RESPIRO During a studio stay in Genoa, I was fascinated by the spontaneously growing flora in the city. Consequently, I decided to dedicate my time in Genoa to these “simple creatures”, to document them in an artistic way and putting them in the spotlight. Collected and traced, first as single sheets that together compose a catalogue. Then continuously laid down under a roll and drawn off, they appear as shadows, a breath.
