Dear reader

2015 has just begun, and I can already inform you about some coming exhibitions. What an auspicious beginning in this New Year!

The gallery Pia Rubner in Nuremberg is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special group showing. Any and all artists, who have ever exhibited their work in the gallery, have been invited to show a single piece of art. The artwork is in any technique they choose, in size A4. Almost 70 artists are taking part in this exhibit. I will be showing a double-sided painting on wood.

On Friday, January 9th 2015, the exhibit opened in a festive event. The exhibition, with its variety of artwork can be seen till February 7th 2015.

Under the title “Winter Notabene“, the Mitart Gallery in Basel is opening its exhibitions for the year 2015. Appropriate for the season of the year, some artists of the gallery will present smooth and subtle art objects in this group show. I am participating in the show with small sized paintings from my series “Ethereal” and “Tête-à-tête”.

The exhibit in the Mitart Gallery will be my first time showing my artwork in Basel. It would be my pleasure to meet some friends and acquaintances on the opening.

Opening: Wednesday, January 21st 6-8 pm.

Closing event: Saturday, February 14th 1-4 pm.

I have been working intensively for quite a long time preparing my proximate solo show in the Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte in Appenzell. The light in my studio is on for hours and hours while I’m creating a huge wall painting for the top floor of the Kunsthalle. On the floor below will be an exhibit of my series from 2010 till now – a kind of an overview of my artist work in the last few years.

More information about my work and the upcoming exhibition in the Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte will follow in the next newsletter, however you can already take note that the opening will be on Saturday, January 31st 2015 at 5 pm. Hope to see you there! Save the date!

Coming soon:

From February 19th to February 28th 2015 I will exhibit my work In the Erdkunst gallery in Romanshorn. A delightful assortment of my recent paintings will be shown in the intimate space of the gallery. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and introducing my artwork to the general public in this region.

I hope to see you in one or more of these occasions.

Best regards,

Haviva Jacobson
