IKEBANA transposes Warteggpark into the cabane, creating nature in the art space. The surrounding park is both an inspiration and a model. Haviva Jacobson selects plants there, arranges them in layers under transparent foil and traces their living lines and connections. This creates multidimensional interpretations of the natural environment which playfully challenges our perceptions and aesthetic hierarchies. What catches our eye in nature eludes it in the artistic composition – and vice versa. IKEBANA invites us to see nature with a new perspective.
