2024 FLOWING – An art residency in Štúrovo in southern Slovakia, where the Danube flows wide and mightily through the landscape, inspired me to create this series. Inspired by the permanent flow of the Danube, I discovered for myself a new method of painting. I worked on fine paper scrolls outdoors with liquid colors. By coincidence and influenced by chance and by the weather, flowing structures appeared on delicate rolls. – An interplay of colors and lightness at the same time.
